Tanbark Ridge Pencil Sketch

Betsy and I travel along the Blue Ridge Parkway whenever possible. We don’t make very good time while doing so because we are constantly stopping at overlooks to take pictures and enjoy the views. Several years ago we stopped at the Tanbark Ridge overlook near Asheville, North Carolina, where I took several pictures. One of those pictures was the basis for this pencil sketch.

Yahoo Falls

I don’t often shoot black-and-white pictures, but several years ago while visiting Kentucky’s Yahoo Falls, I decided that the setting my work for a monochrome photo.  This is the result.  I hope you like it.
