The Mountains of China

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

This image is based on a slide of a photo I took more than thirty years ago. When I took the photo I was on my way to visit the Great Wall for the first time, and I got this photo of my first glimpse of the wall — ruins on the first peak in the photo. Since the slide had badly deteriorated over time, I used Photoshop to clean the image and added a ‘dreamy’ look. This is the result.

You have so many great pictures and memories of your times in China.. This is a fantastic picture especially since it was taken from a slide so many years ago.

Great photo. Old photos are lovely and they bring to mind memories.

I just ended my Italy series, which photos are from 2008 – well, quite new when comparing this great photo. 🙂 Thank You.
