Alec’s Red Rose

Everything in our yard has bloomed much earlier than normal this year.  We had a very mild March, and though temperatures dropped close to freezing a few nights earlier this month our irises and roses are blooming several weeks before they normally do.

This is one of our red roses — Alec’s Red.  It’s one of our container roses and produces beautiful, full blossoms.

    Very lovely rose in perfect bloom! I do love the vibrant color more than the pastel in this case! It will be curious if they’ll keep blooming much longer into the fall season compared to last year.
