Arkansas Creek Bed

In February, 2010, Betsy and I did some hiking and waterfalling in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas.  We each were getting accustomed to our new cameras, and we took many pictures of many different things.  When crossing a bridge over Clear Creek, I noticed the rocks in the creek bed through the crystal clear water.  One of my photographs became the basis for the water color above.

    Very fascinating creek bed! Looks like iron ore – that pretty rusty color. You two have a fabulous hobby – hiking and waterfalling!!
