Flowers From Our Yard: Paradise Rose

We’ve had Paradise rose is our yard for several years now.  It’s a hybrid tea rose with a delightful fragrance and an unusual color — a lilac mauve.  Needless to say, that makes it fairly unique in our rose garden.

I have no idea how it works to hybridize roses – should google it I suppose – but this color is just gorgeous! If I could buy some I’d take a dozen of this one to enjoy them all week, lol!! Love it when roses are fragrant too. Seems to me that for a while there I’d try to smell the roses and there wasn’t even a hint of the fragrance that I recalled roses having in the old country! Thanks for sharing this!
